Film & Television Producers Guild reacts to attack on Sanjay Leela Bhansali - Times of India
The recent odious attack on National Award winning director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has sent shock waves across the nation and the film industry. Bhansali, who was shooting for his next film, 'Padmavati' in Jaipur's Jaigarh Fort, was assaulted by activists of a Rajput community group, Karni Sena, who also vandalised the set.
A host of celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, among others took to social media to vent their anger over the incident.
